wish it was closer :-( 700 miles from me to you. it is a tricky destination. One thunderstorm and it is all under water. Just an afternoon pop up can spoil the 3-4 day trips. If you are ever headed this way.... Shear beautiful place too Arlen.

My best friend just bought a place in crossville Tn for his future retirement in a couple.of years. I might venture thattaway on a getaway someday Here is a stop on a coral shoal Arlen: You are using the flat side on that hammer ? The peen side fractures Ed. Must use flat side, hurts less too. Another coral exposure, Suwannee River. 100% coral. About one out of 30 is high grade, some very nice. Test batch from this particular shoal. It has been visited by rock hunters over the years. But wet season floods exposes new material every flood. Or you can set up the ole chippingchair out in the water. Most of the coral is lining the bottom of the river. Coral layer as being washed out from river bank. Note seep, spring water is salty from ancient salt deposit ?? The coral in this seep has the black border, typical color from salt water effect. Collect here for target before they wash into the river and mix with the degenerate corals. Fossils and part of an artifact. Beer tab. Silicified oysters upper left From same shoal 20 miles downstream A Four Once Hammer Hijack Production by Bruised Fingers Inc.

Jim I just checked the river gage it's only 4370 want to go! Cant wait to get back down! Let's hope we have a dry summer, June to August. If you were guaranteed of a dry summer a rental house would be cool. Starting Sept 6 me and buddies used to rent a house at Mexico Beach for 2 months to fish and beach out. Rates went from $2500 to $500 per month. Mexico Beach just east of Panama City Fl. Sept 6 was the last day of scallop season. I thought about renting a corner of a farmers field near a spot he could use the leftover rock like a wet spot. Just to stock pile at. Maybe a shed where the rock saw could be stashed.
