Hello, I have acquired some commercial tumblers, I only need one which leaves 4 I need to sell. Two are rock tumblers with ceramic linings and 2 are wood/rubber lined drums with corn cob type of tumbler media. These are big with two drums on each for two of them and the rest are single drum. They are 3 phase powered so you will need to get a phase converter from Ebay or somewhere to run the. The drums are about 36" long and 20 some inches deep. They were used for Turquoise polishing and in good shape. Let me know if you might be interested in one and I can send pics and information.
Thanks for looking, Dan

Where are they located, do you have pictures, and what is the price? Curious minds want to know.

nevada I'm betting that there will be some here who are interested in this. As the others said pictures (as many as possible) is a great place to start. BTW, I probably wouldn't leave my email address exposed in a post. There are spider-bots crawling this type of forum all day long harvesting addresses.

Thanks Tommy, I removed the e-mail address. I will attach some pics once I reduce the size. Location is in Crescent Valley Nevada and price varies but starting at $2000 for the single barrel and $2500 for double barrel. Prices for these seem to be all over the place from my research. Tried to attach pics but tells me the this forum has exceeded its storage limit. The file size was 232kb so not very big?

Can't upload from a computer directly to RTH

Hello again, post number 4!! I have created a photobucket account for pics of the Tumblers. Let me know if it does not work. Also, any tricks for tumbling low grade torquoise? This stuff is somewhat soft and crumbly. Thanks!! s1159.photobucket.com/user/lost-coz/library/

Stabiliize it. You cant polish a turd, unless you stabilize it.

It is known as "Chalk" and must be stabilized to be useful for anything other than chips or powder for inlay, usually in woodworking pieces. Some places also "Enhance" it by adding dye and this gets used in lots of costume jewelry
