She's up and running now! Didn't have enough Stage 2 to fill her up, so I just put in 4lbs of rough to check out my new toy. Very cool to watch it do its' thing.

...and away ya go!!!! As for putting four pounds in...don't worry about weight, just load it up to just below the neck (1/2"?...anyone?). A good mix of rough and smalls.

I leave about an inch of free space. If your rocks are all small, you can fill it more. If they're bigger and it's too full, the rocks can push the lid off or they will just get jammed up and not move. I loop a string of rubber bands from the knob on the bottom, around the top and back to the knob.

24+ hours into my first Lot-O tumble (using Picture Rock rough, smalls and ceramic media)… I'm learning a lot about how this vibe process works… making observations and taking notes.
