I use the horse laxative in my 18" Lortone/Spartan. really like it, no smell and esy to clean up. Do I need cat litter to get the oil off the slabs? Or does soap and water work? Andrea

Andrea I use purple degreaser in water, soak them a day or so then put them in an over at about 300 degrees to burn the oil out. I have a small toaster oven and a large kitchen one. I have been thinking about the NAPA oil kitty litter. I got some rocks in the degreaser now and have the oil absorbent kitty litter from NAPA auto. I sure others will chime in with how they get the oil out. Heat will change colors in some petrified wood and thundereggs. I lost some nice green colors in some eggs last week. I got another set in the degreaser solution that I will put in the floor dry and will see how it will work. I do know that if you do not get all the oil out, it will be hard to polish.
