All I can say was the pain was like no other and waiting 10 minutes for people to get rounded up to pick the car up seemed like eternity. Doctor said it would have been much less painful if it cut them off(terminating nerves)so pain was a good thing. Yes, thank God it was not a US heavy model.
Just the tips got crushed, oddly they are all three hard as a rock. Must be the healing process. Fingernails added to the pain factor, they are loaded with receptors.

Not bad considering the back of a BMW and it's brake rotor laid on it for 10 minutes. Was changing a flat when the jack popped out. Huuuuuuuuuuurt. May loose tip on that pinky. Thank goodness it wasn't a hunk of Detroit steel like a big 'ol Caddy! I've had fingers and hands broken and mangled, but not nearly amputated like that! Glad they are healing well and not becoming badly infected The new box of Coral is outstanding Sir!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck w/them Arlen. Hope you get a lot of use out of them. They are sitting around here doing nothing, might as well make them useful.

OUCH!! Hope you have a speedy recovery. The crazy lace looks great. Andrea Thanks Andrea, Happy happy happy to have my digits. Brain washed into thinking they are no longer; was certain that car cut them off. Brain and instinct still telling me they are no longer there. (they were so flat, guessed they were mush), image impregnated. No way to mess up C Lace, but it does not take well to being hammer broken. Saw and grinding required on that material, for me any way.

Just thankful to have my fingers Intheswamp . model 630i heavy 630i Curb weight, 1,650–1,995 kg (3,638–4,398 lb) I'm thankful you've still got'em, too. When the stitches get "done" we'll have to have a meetup on a gravel bar so you can soak'em in some of this Bama creek water...good for healing (if you don't catch somethin' from it!<grin>). I'll get it ok'd with Bentley for you to cross the state line. I'll even bring the orange villain.

James, Just now saw this about your fingers! Color in them looks good, you are one tough dude. Oh, almost forgot, sweet lace shots! 2 ways that could have gone Bill, loose em or keep em. Within 5 seconds the thought of loosing them actually hurt more than the car sitting on them, serious. And was fearing pulling them out and looking at them destroyed. They were so flat I figured they were getting amputated so the fear lasted a few hours(6) till the Doc accessed a lessor damage. Sat in emergency room 6 hours listening to people coming in for coughs and flu bugs. Priorities on Friday night EM @#$%^?

Never had an infection 25 years doing swamp water. Tannic acids hell on germs. Now they allow getting stitches wet; not back in the old days. Thanks for the weight quotes Ed LOL, TMI

As for the weight quotes...I figured you might want to know, you know...inquiring minds want to know.

Lucky you, still have those fingers. I nicked one down to the worms several yrs. ago, feeling came back one day to the next, about ten years later.

Medicine has the cartilage and ligaments figured, nerves apparently a challenge. Worst common case, back surgeries for sciatica pain paralyzing foot/ankle. Surgeons should warn their patients of this common outcome. They don't in many cases.
