Hello, everyone.
A few weeks ago me and some of my rock friends went to a three days trip to Miskolc (read Mishcoltz) - Hungary. There was a rather important rock fair held there those days, hosted by the local University. But our target was not only the fair itself, but also some other interesting places, as you will see in the following photos.
Firstly, we made a short stop in place which is very well known for the wine made there: Tokaji (read Tokai).
Even the statue in front of the main church is dedicated to Bachus:
Almost every house has its own cellar in the yard. It doesn't seem very much from the outside...
... but once inside the perspective does change: lots and lots of barrels with wine; one can taste and buy wine from there, which of course we did.
Then we went to the first rockhounding place, where we found some very interesting rocks:
The next day was dedicated to the fair. The halls which host the fair are rather big:
And the rocks are diverse. There are a lot of bling, of course...
... but one can also find interesting local stuff and also some rough:
Here is a very nice and solid piece of pet wood found in Budapest during the diggings for a building. My friend tried to buy the piece but the vendor told him it's not for sale, it's only for display. No wonder about it.
At the end of the day, we all gathered in the motel and admired each other's boughts:
Great boughts, so cheers for this:
The next day we went to another rockhounding place, which prooved to be loaded with beautiful rocks. Too bad some of them are very crumbly.
Anyway, we managed to select a good load of beautiful rocks from there. You can tell, by my attitude in the next pic, that my backpack is far from being empty:
Then we went to another place, very close to the first one. This one is located into a forest...
... and beautiful rocks emerge from the grass, sometimes in unbelievable abundance:
Here I had the luck to find a beautiful big boulder, which didn't even fit to my backpack. Did that stop me to haul it? Nope! One of my friends helped me to carry it as you see:
And now the boulder is embelishing our yard, underneath the walnut tree:
One of the days we also had some time for some relaxing time: we went to a thermal bath built into a cave. Very nice place, but we couldn't take pics because of the moist. So here's a link to see that place:

I hope you enjoyed the pics and stories. Thank you for looking and for reading.
