I could use a bit of help with this egg. No idea of where it came from cut it today. Green on the outside if that is much help. I did a bit of reseach and now think it is from Buchanan, Oregon.

With the collapsed interior, it is going to be tough to determine based just on the inside. The outside might retain some clues, though. Really pretty colors inside that one!

A few of us are going with Buchanan's,Woodman................On the rough green egg...
As for the top one,here is a comment from a hounder in the area.."Quote" I think it's more likely to be a Skull Springs area egg from one of the other beds besides the current claim than Buchanan. There are at least 3 or 4 more there that never did produce much of anything, and the agate and the shell definitely don't look Buchanan-ish. The only thing that does is the matrix."Quote"

The only thing that does is the matrix."Quote" He could very well be correct. These eggs were in pile of rocks the wife bought at an estate sale a number of years ago. There probably collected in the early 60's or early. Another interesting rock.
