Some very nice colors. Look forward to seeing the final product if you are tumbling them.

How didya crush those sexy beasts? Let's just say I have a solid handshake...Or I used a large hammer and rock chisel. -Chaz

Ha ha. I loaded them in the tumbler on Wednesday, shoved the tumbler into the microwave, set to high, should be ready soon. I'll be certain to post some more pics along their progression. Probably a couple weeks out until the next update. -Chaz

Real nice, I only found mutant looking pieces my last time on the OR beaches. Was so many pickers I didn't find anything until I went up a stream.

The beach is fun on a nice day, but most of the places I hunt require waders, and a hike each way. But anywhere out near the oregon coast you can find great rocks. -Chaz

Looking good, Chaz. Are you exclusively rotary or do you use a Lot O, or something similar, also? In other words, how long are your next steps gonna take?

Looking good, Chaz. Are you exclusively rotary or do you use a Lot O, or something similar, also? In other words, how long are your next steps gonna take? I do use a lot-o for the polishing. It works great for these tumbled pieces, and the forms I cut and grind. Some of the pieces in this tumble will be ready to move into the Lot-o next week. I'll be sure to post some more pics along the way. -Chaz

It works great for the forms I cut and grind. -Chaz I've just started doing this also, a lot of fun. Don't you feel like it's home free once you hit the Lot O? I know there are some Lot O difficulties out there, but I've had no trouble at all with that process. After the long initial grind, it feels like the final kick to finish out the marathon.
