Wow, looks like just a couple votes still separate #1 from #2. If you haven't voted, DO SO! This is for all the marbles (this month, anyway), much more important than the recent elections, which don't really mean squat, in the big scheme of things...

A death match for sure.

Congrats Garage Rocker ! That is a very fine tumble. (I just noticed your board name. Nice. I love me some Boy George.) Thanks, rockjunquie. While I don't mind that song, eighties are fine with me, my wife signed me up under that name. Cute for a tumbling forum, I reckon. She saw me lurking on here, learning what I could, and I guess she got tired of me talking about it. I never joined an internet forum before, needed a push I guess. (She probably regrets it about now.) Anyway, I picked a name more suited to my taste, scarves and eye shadow notwithstanding.

I'll have some time over the weekend to sit and look at it all. I'm excited to get some things I've never seen before, I'll have a heck of a time identifying it all. I'm a picture guy, so fair warning...
Thanks again for the generous prize!

I liked your rock a bunch, too, and I was worried when I saw the other entries. Those lakers are pretty rocks, it's a shame they're so hard to find up there. I have a honey hole for them down here, the guy with the KY agate pile also has a nice little pile of lakers. I just picked up another couple pounds to throw in for smalls, for about the same price as ceramics.
Thanks also for sharing your knowledge and experience with us that are new to this hobby. You and Drummond Island Rocks, in particular, were quick to give advice and feedback when I was trying to figure this all out.

If I had known you were going to turn around and use it against me, I might have held back a bit more!

Been wanting to congratulate you on your win, Garage Rocker, but I did not to reinforce your impression that I am a politician, lol. Ah, what the hell, congratulations! BTW, I like the board name your wife came up with. Cute! And I do not mean that any kind of a sexist manner. I'll just shut up, now, before I step all over myself attempting to be PC. Jean

Jean Jean, you're too nice to make it as a politician anyway. Thanks to you and everyone that participated and/or voted in the contest. Win, lose or draw, it was a lot of fun. Of course, I won't complain about a big box of rocks showing up at my door either.
