Lounging lizards ready to rumble.  Are these basilisk lizards? I'm going by the top crest on their heads, I usually see them as green. Green Anoles (Anolis carolinensis)The crested one, a male, is displaying to prove his manhood...  Basilisk is an amazing lizard, but very different.  |

those Anoles are always doing the manhood thing. like Payton Place.
wealth of bugs keeps them feeding right in front of you.
not sure whom is in the terrarium.

Ah, okay, the photo makes them seem fairly large to me. You feel they are the small Green Anole. Where I live - Boca Raton, Fl.- the common Brown Anole has almost annihilated the Green Anole. Used to see the greens a lot 20 years ago but now they're rare in my area. Seen once in maybe 2-3 years.

The lady that has all the corals, collected by her grandfather, that I go see is on Lake Kerr. That lake is extremely overgrown and needs a good cleaning out. She has a dock, but there is absolutely no way you could put a boat in there. Gotta ask why you haven't built a structure for your johnny? Gotta suck if you can't wait during a hard rain. Soggy Charmin probably doesn't work so well. James on the throne holding an umbrella  |

Lake is crystal clear, 28 feet deep at deepest i think. Open toilet ? Keeps the friend's whining wives away. Always fussing about skeeters and bugs.  |

Seeds get carried from distant lands. Suppose reptiles could blow in too. Certainly that lizard was introduced. |

Yeah, the brown is a Cuban immigrant but I like all reptiles. Until the big freeze about 6 years ago there were Iguanas all over the place. They would go in my pool and sit at my computer desk, had one walk into my front door once  . It's only now that they are slowly returning. I love them, they look like mini dinosaurs! Now we are getting over run with the "Curly tail lizard; www.wildflorida.com/wildlife/lizards/Curlytail_Lizard.php. They have been slowly moving north and reached us about 5 years ago. |

Lizards are CUTE!!
Don't think I've ever seen an ugly lizard.
While in college, son had pet lizard. Fredricka. Cute cute very small green one that fit in shirt pocket.
Was asked at plane check in what he had in box in shirt pocket.
Lizard.
They let him on plane. Can't leave small pet home alone for days.

I have fond Lake George memories. Gators in hand, legless lizards, 'dillo, moccasins and a huge bag of green treefrogs!
Hope to make more soon using all this fantastic knowledge shared here and elsewhere.

Soon the pet trade will get to see some real cool shit from Cuba. High end hobbyists have had them for 15 years via Germany. Anolis smallwoodi related to the Knight Anole currently found in Miami.  |
