I want to change my vote. The crazy lace pics added are awesome!!! Seriously those pics were not there b4. If I cannot change my vote then I request that entry be given a bye for the end of the year GRAND CHAMPION CONTEST. That would be where the winners each month are entered for a Grand Champion. Crazy Lace gets entered for year end. Radio should donate a silver work, Tommy donates the cab for it, Chuck donates a Puddingstone cab, Tela wraps the stone etc. Everybody donates something to the award. Jamesp and I would get together on a tumbled boitroidal coral and I would Hillbilly Wire Twisting cold forge wire wrap it. Right Jim???

U r rockin Tommy#!#
I suggest everyone start sending the stuff to Scott. That way he can start a year end thread with entries posted and individual prizes pictured as he receives them. This way there won't be a bunch of last minute stuff and empty promises. If you need to get another member to help, ex Jamesp and I with boytroidal coral cold forged pendant then get with them now and make sure it's a ok with them.
RTH....ROCKS!!!

I think I will decline to vote because the field is not level. If it was all the same stone..... Since some stones are harder to polish to a nice shine than others, I wondered if I should consider that. And some stones are rarer than others. How does that factor in? I decided I am just voting for what strikes my fancy. That might change from month to month. I love looking at all the pretty rocks. Thanks for setting up the contest and thanks to those entering it!

I was looking at the shine and smoothness. I do agree about some stones take longer to work on and are just a harder stone to work with.

This is difficult. I only get to vote for one? These are all great.

I would say. That your not looking at the stone by itself but the workmanship put into that stone, quality.

I think I will decline to vote because the field is not level. If it was all the same stone..... It doesn't have to be a level field - as a voter you can act on your knowledge of the difficulty level - if two shines are similar I always consider which material demands a higher level of skill ... like obsidian ... or jade.

All very beautifully finished stones.
Very hard to place a vote at all.
