I see your reasoning rockpickerforever . Lots of engines in the water around here and rarely do they crack. Beats me ?? Jeeps and ATV's with snorkel air intakes are common and they all go completely submerged. I know what you mean about the snorkels and running pretty much submerged. Maybe the difference is in the motor taking a bath in water, versus water being forced into it? Probably.
You sound pretty attached to those old Honda relics. Having a whole junkyard for spare parts is about all you can do when things are no longer made. Those rangers in their puke green forestry vehicles may catch you someday, and take at least the one you are riding away from you. Well, until then, have fun playing hide and seek. You're probably right about them not having too much incentive to catch you, lol.

rockpickerforever @shotgunner There is some forestry police that don't play. A new bunch of big strong young fellows that have a lot to prove at whatever cost. They could call back up and most likely catch wiley James. The Rainbow people had done their 28 days and were moving to the next NF. a dozen stragglers had their vehicle hoods open as if broke down. Not wanting to leave, happens every time. Me and partner passed them on the forestry road and went over the next hump and ~10 forestry trucks were peeking over the hump ready to ambush them. so I passed thru their sting operation with no ill effects. They chewed me out for riding illegal, but asked me to turn around and ride back by perhaps as a diversion. In passing back by one of those assholes sent his pit bull after us on the ATV. We sped up and raised a ton of dust on the rest of them. Turned then into dust bunnies. Apparently the forest guys rushed them and some escaped into the woods. that night a fire was set in adjacent federal land, Juniper Wilderness. I t burned 5 miles X 7 miles, for weeks. Forestry got the helicopters after them. Don't know the outcome. I would guess they captured them. I hope they hung them. So, if they get the copters after you I am sure they would catch you w/infared. Never know about modern day law enforcement. They will spend $5000 to catch a $300 fine. Joy riders on unregistered vehicles may warrant a full attack lol. Those young officers have attitude.

Buddy and I rented golf carts in Peachtree City yesterday. A town built several decades ago with miles of golf cart trails. $45 for 24 hours. Started at noon and got back at midnight. Got lost about 10 times. Hit bars, ate Mex and raw oysters. Drank too much. Man am I tired. Even the kids go to school on golf carts. International town has always had Sodom and Gomorra reputation lol. My buddy is working on golf cart fleet management electronics as a product to sell. we had to do some product research. Very diverse points found in Lake Peachtree. Black material from 80 miles NW, yellow and orange chert from 100 miles south. White quartz local. any land clearings they do near that town get hunted for arrowheads. It is a giant flat bowl. Great for Natives, and great for modern man's development.

jamespAnd the beers and oysters and mex food are tax deductible! Product research costs... Ok maybe not the beers, depends on the receipt and if its itemized.

I will let Steve make those deductions, his research and his risk. My accountant always warns about deducting wines and dines. However they are very often legit.
