Been slow going here.... starting to get cold. Tomorrow it should be warm out. Phenomenal Stefonite- easily my favorite Red Jasper, not sure of the location, but it is a different one with an agate polish and some clear agate. White water, not red. Thin Sonora Sunrise setor as I like to call it- Cuprite - will make some nice big earrings Hell's Canyon Sequoia Petrified Wood- nice and holey Killer and large Guadalupe Jasper Deschutes Jasper Tee Pee Canyon... or is it Dryhead Agate? Neolite aka nelite aka golden skies petersite- found with pietersite Fantasy jasper My wonky round of SS for a friend A little chip off the slab of SS Thanks for looking!

Actually that spelling was my mistake! I had only seen it spelled once years ago.
That sequoia pet wood is world class too.

Tela the Stefonite is exactly what you said, my favorite!!! As to Teepee Canyon and Dry head agate. I have been there and talked to the old timers. The purists hate this info but the difference in the two is you dig one out of the solid rock as nodules. The other weather out and started traveling away as float. To complicate things and Don/Jakesrocks is gonna kill me but...Fairburn agates also came from the same spot and just wore down more from their travels. There is also the Prairie agate but I have insulted the purists enough today. Please forgive me?

I've also heard that one had more of the purple color than the other, but I'm not sure which is which. I am pretty certain that this is Tee Pee, though. I've only ever had a little bit of dryhead and that should have been gone ages ago.

That is some fantastic material. And very nicely shaped. Is there a vertical edge to these pieces or does the angle taper right down to the back? Can you show a side picture for one of them? Thanks!

They all have a girdle of about 3 or 4mm except for the thin cuprite. I'll try to post a picture. eta

Wowzers, so really cool cabs ya got there. I think the one is Dryhead Agate, I always though Teepee Canyon had a lighter matrix rock on it but I'm no expert. Bill orrum, you really do know how to make friends don't ya? LOL. That first one is killer, never seen that material before either spelled with an f or a ph. That yellow Neolite is super cool, is it chatoyant like the Pietersite?

I have no clue what stefonite it, but's it tight. The red jasper is cool, looks like a tooth(awesome!), and the Sonora sunrise is fantastic, would make a great pair of ear rings!
