Did that on field trips with kidlet 10-15 years ago. I got in trouble. Aside from the driver & teacher I was the only adult on the bus!!! My son had parent teacher swap at the high school. It was awesome! I had so much fun! Being back in school made me a delinquent again. I got in trouble in study hall for cutting up, I got caught smoking in the girl's room and I got an A for my son on a German quiz. Incorrigible

Sorry can not tell about my childhood. I can't tell you that I would walk for hours around the back 40 with my 22, shooting gophers and crows. With a jackknife in my pocket. Or when I would go on solo duck hunts till after dark. And when we would ride the horses bareback with no bridles. Or when we played cowboys and indians with our pellet guns loaded with Silly Puddy( left a mark) If I did tell you that. The helicopter parents would complain and they would dig up my parents and put them in jail.

Incorrigible Actually, I was found incorrigible by a court of law and placed on probation. My parents had had it with me and had me arrested. That was after trying everything else to get me to conform. I'm not ashamed to admit- I was a rotten kid. It wasn't the fault of my parents, I was just a free spirit. Tell ya what, though, the kids and grandkids could never pull anything over me. Been there, done that. Thankfully, they were/are all great kids, though.

We just had an argument with the grandson tonight. He thought that the 16 year old grand daughter (who happens to be really cute) should be able to walk home from his school about 2.5 miles... in the city... at dark. She had an academic challenge meet with her school that met for a match at his school. He walks home all the time, so he figured she should be able to. We had to explain to him that it's a little different for a teenage girl by herself. He left at the normal time, so he couldn't walk her.

Silly putty and the Sunday comics. Who knew you could kill so much time having fun with those?
I have a vintage Super Spirograph, with ALL the parts, that I pull out sometimes.

The huge collage kids that would visit near our grade school and show off their skills and sell us yoyo's and we tried to repeat the things they could do with them.
I never knew of all the weird varieties:

I count 4 boys and 4 girls - not including the driver. Looks like fun. If it was any darker, there would be some kissing and cuddling going on.
