As usual, many different materials in this batch. After seeing all James' wood photos, I'm glad to have some of mine rolling out of the barrels. Jeremy, txrockhunter, some of your material is starting to make it's way through.

Impressive. Indeed you are powerful as the Emperor has foreseen. Obi-wan has taught you well.

Bahia agates? Where does one buy them? The Rock Shed. I've bought many from Shawn. Large Bahia's, regular Bahia's, it's all good. I probably have more of those tumbled than anything else.

Off the charts awesome! I wish you would sometimes put in a quarter or something for scale though. Thanks for posting the photos!

Hey, what is #10....Lightning Wood? Also, what is that a tumbled thunder egg? Any problems tumbling? #10 is Blue Forest. I really like those two pieces. Yes, that's a small thunderegg. I put it in there expecting the matrix to tumble off, but was pleasantly surprised to see this result. fossilman

I've done the quarter thing a time or two, but then I don't like it because it uglies up an otherwise nice picture. Of course, it doesn't make much difference to me either, I have the rock in hand for reference.

Those are some GREAT tumbles! What process are you doing? Rotary, vibe, grit, times........if you don't mind? Thanks! (more details are better)

Those are some GREAT tumbles! What process are you doing? Rotary, vibe, grit, times........if you don't mind? Thanks! (more details are better) These all tumbled for weeks in a QT12 with 46/70 and came out during the month between Lot O batches. They went in at different times, so no real answer as to how long they each tumbled. With my tumbler capacity, it took about a month to gather enough to run a Lot O batch. I've added a QT66, so that turnaround time should decrease after that tumbler starts producing course ground rocks. The Lot O process is pretty standard. I think 90% of owners use pretty much the same one. You can even find it in recipe card form in a post by oregon. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/76542/lot-recipe-card
