Thanks jamesp. Brazilian would be the other likely choice. I forgot those have that effect sometimes. Especially on the outer edges it seems. Chuck May be proof of density variations. Bots strike a polish long before most agates. Believe it is pure precipitated chalcedony. Pre-grinding some moss with lots of clear chalcedony like your green moss tumbles above tears up the diamonds on the wheel. Think snake skin agate, pretty sure those blobs are giant bots of 100% chalcedony. You know how it polishes easily. Florida coral is filled with precipitated silica from ancient diatoms making bots and silicifying the coral. That stuff is way hard, more so than most amygdule formations from basalt and lava. Except Montana and Brazilian agate. Those clearish agates are real hard rock.
