I'l have to get more shots on that one amygdule. A lot of biscuit type jasper collected this time. Add orbs and plumes in some of that jasper. Well, I think it is jasper. It's hard to tell if some is agate or jasper.

If it's mostly opaque, I call it Jasper. If it is mostly clear/translucent/banded, Agate/Chalcedony. Lots of variations in between. Lots of mixed breeds too, part agate and part jasper. Good basis definition.

Beautiful stuff and I love the accelerated tumbling process!!!! After reading your 6lb barrel thread, I put 2 - 6lb Lortones on the 55rpm rollers and I think they did better than the long 6" PVC barrels. I'll be making new 6lb PVC barrels to replace at least on of the big tumblers. Good stuff, James!

Not sure what effect the end walls being closer together does. Has to have some kind of effect. Carlon brand gray PVC electrical couplings on Ebay. Paid $72 and free shipping for 10 of them. They are perfect, good bit shorter than the sch 40 couplings. They were packed right up to the end cap. So being shorter allowed the 6 pound capacity. Can get Ebay seller if needed. Also saved the build on a flickr album.

Very nice rocks and pics , Where is the best deal on grit? Kingsley has it $88, but you save the money by them shipping in a LFRB. Cheapest I know of tandl.

How did you get them to use a FRB? There was a little twist to doing the LFRB thing. I think you have to do the 'Buy Now' thing and then the shipping options came up. I think you should call them. I have called them and have done it on the website too.

Just buy with the FedEx (whatever) shipping option. They will not charge your card until they ship. The charge on your card will reflect Flat Rate shipping. Just trust 'em - the rest of us have done this with zero problems.
