A good a place as any to post this point..... "Spiceman" sent me some Flint Ridge material,told him I would post photos of it as he sent it,than the finished product... I sent it off to a friend in California (James Bowden),he than knapped a point of it,for my collection..... Looks like it was heat treated too-nice shiny glaze and smooth.... Turned out great!!!

I don't know how and never seen them for sale but you tube shows you how to make a pocket knife out of flint.

Here is one of the busted ammonites I sent him,he has started on it..... Beautiful cabs,when they are finished.. When I was hounding "Glass Buttes" this last summer,I found a shard of Obsidian that I thought looked pretty cool. I gifted James with it...This is what he knapped with the material...
