I've only seen Lawsonite (Blue G) in shades of blue and black --- basically blue-ish, with black dendrite markings.

I've only seen Lawsonite (Blue G) in shades of blue and black --- basically blue-ish, with black dendrite markings. Yes that's what I'm finding in the Internet search lots of different shades but obviously from the same area. I'm seeing little single blue crystals in my stone that I'm not sure about here's a pic flic.kr/p/P3xJFe

Makes it sound expensive!! Yours is simply another example of eclogite or whatever it was described as. If it's special to you, treat it with respect. Display it proudly. That is all that matters. How you feel about it. Blue G is certainly worthless. Yours may be the opposite!! I hope it is for you!
