I know this thread is years old but was wondering How well this turned out after some use? Would be just what I'm looking to do without having to construct from scratch.

Perfect, thanks! Ordered one and now, like anything rock related it seems, I must patiently wait..

The Avanti blades are the bomb. Just be careful not to harm your fingers. The tile saw is awesome, but a few blades ganged up on an arbor offer nice options also.

Just got my new blade in. Seamless fit in my 7" skil wet tile saw, smooth operation and superb grinding! This blade will definitely quadruple my grinding output on tumbling material compared to my dremel and save my other blades for actual cutting. This was just the upgrade I was looking for with my shoestring budget at the moment. Thanks Jamesp for this tip !

Tried many diamond wheels on several different machines oldschoolrocker and this one out performed them all hands down in all categories - cost safety aggressiveness longevity smoothness. Basically a wide tile saw blade mounted on a tile saw with more aggressive longer lasting diamonds. If concerned about safety just lower blade down for minimal exposure above deck. It can throw water and use more water depending on tile saw's water guard/reservoir arrangement though. It is the 3500 rpm and smooth rotation that makes it so aggressive without chipping your Mohs 7 rocks. Happy shaping.
