You're welcome, 1dave. LOL!! Those are some wide wheels. You can bust out some big cabs with that. If I had to buy Gene again, I might have gone with a Big Foot. But, with the price of the wheels, I better stick with my Gene. |

rockjunquie are you still using the 220 Nova? How is it with soft stones? I LOVE it! I'll never go back. For soft stones, I do wait till it's worn in a bit before I use it on them, but if I needed to, I set up another arbor with worn wheels. (I wanted it for jade mostly.) |

I LOVE it! I'll never go back. For soft stones, I do wait till it's worn in a bit before I use it on them, but if I needed to, I set up another arbor with worn wheels. (I wanted it for jade mostly.) Cool, thanks. |

rockjunquie, I have had same frustration with my 280 wheel ever since I got it. id thought maybe it needed replaced but doesnt look that bad. id like to go with 220 inatead but I havent seen nova 220 wheel. can I ask where you got yours from?

Thanks for bumping this post. When I have the funds to spring for new wheels, I may also switch to the soft 220. I ,also, have cursed the 280 for years. I SWEAR I had all the scratches out this weekend, but later discovered that not to be the case. My lighting issues don't help, but this may be a/the solution.

I was buying them on ebay. But haven't seen any for a while. Johnson Brothers has them but not DP. I've been satisfied with the JB soft wheels.
