Some are self collected some I aquired in a large collection of slabs i bought, the above one is not local and i have no idea what specific name it has other than a jasper / ryolite

I need to clean my saw out so i can slab up some of last years finds... Ive been putting it off cause its about 5 gallons of sludge and maybe 1 gallon on oil if that I'm sure i'll find lots of tumble material when i do clean it out

Someone's been busy! I like the plume jasper the best. Photo #8 shows where your drill bit walked & left a trail. To avoid that, put a small piece of masking tape where you want to drill & mark the spot with a fine Sharpie. It'll minimize the bit walking. Lynn

I'll choose the black plume as my favorite.

glennz01 this unknown
is a stromatolite of some sort. I cabbed a piece I picked up at a show
Besides the one I did, I did see one other one on images, can't find it now.
ETA -
Ah, here it is
For sale on Etsy, $28.50.
ETA again - I am peering into the dark corners/crevasses/recesses of my mind. Thinking I recall seeing a sphere made of this material. If not, I'm sure it would make a dandy sphere!

My three favorites are definitely the bruneau jasper , the malachite, and the wonderstone cabs. Literally gems sent from heaven.
