Hi boys and girls. You are looking for a tumbler, grinder or something else? I just want to share you my experience dealing with ebay user 'ronsrocks', this guy has a 100% feedback out of something of 2000 transactions. He ships really fast and sells quality products, tumblers, rough gems, cabmakers, grinders etc... honestly, not a sales pitch. So far, best experience of internet buying in 5 years. I can't wait to receive my brand new lortone 33B 3lbs double barrel tumbler! enjoy guys!

Don't know who guest is, but I have bought from Ron's Rock and what guest says is correct. Ron'sRock is A+! Sales pitch - that's what this particular area of the forum is for. Go read the posts here, Toad! There are a number of posts/sales pitches for vendors that provide quality merchandise and prompt delivery. I can smell a sleazebag a mile away ....... Who are you referring to as a sleazebag? Ron'sRocks or the guest who posted a nice review. A bit out of line there, I would say. After all, this is the forum for Vendors, Good, Bad and Ugly. Why shoot your venom at someone who post a good review on an eBay vendor? Hmmm, go figure. llana llana

I just got 3 aluminum templates from him and the guy through in 3 more small templates. It was a buy it now and I bought it on monday morning, Memorial day, for $13.95, with shipping, and got it today! How fast was that? I think the reference to whoever being a sleazebag was uncalled for. This is the right forum for what he posted and he didn't lie about anything either. How was his post any different than the ones about the Gem Shop, or where to by a dremel, or any of the others? If you people want the "guest to stick around, how do you expect him to if he is treated like that? Sales pitch or not, I have made some sales pitches for the Gem Shop, myself, you gonna call me a sleazebag? Didn't think so...So cool your jets!

I'm naturally cynical. So when someone I don't know says trust me - I don't. Ronsrocks may be the best dealer out there, but I'm not going to take the word of an anonymous poster.
Earthdog, I'll take your word for it, because I see you on the boards all the time. I've posted a few recommendations myself and hope you all take my words as my honest opinion. You may not have the same experience I had, but I'm not trying to make money for anyone I recommend. Just trying to be involved on this forum and share my experiences.

hi all i wont recomend anyone iv had a prob with but that dont mean you wont run into a snag it happens, but when i get good deal and service i like to pass on a person or company just for the fact they did me right and its a way of saying thankyou to them, after all word of mouth is the best advertising--- iv had good luck with ron and ive prob bought from him around 5 times and havent had a prob yet,, so take it for what it's worth

i got to admit, my first reaction to guest John414 was pretty similar to Toad and Nepherite. especially his demeaning salutation (Hi boys and girls.), got my fur up. it sounded like a pitch to me.
so put me in the non-trusting box when it comes to guests....
i'd also never heard of Ron's Rocks, but from the other posts here, it sounds like a good vendor, will check it out.

What with all the "bad Guests" lurking around it is hard to trust anyone who is not registerd! So Toad I see where you are coming from- It did sound like a pitch- Not to say there is anything wrong with that- But this area is for Vendor input- be it from a guest (which we can chose to ignore) or from a registered user. So my view at Guest posts is to wait and see if registered users comment on their personal expeirence. With all the new Guest problems- I think a wait and see attitude is in order!

Isn't it interesting how differently we perceive posts/people? When I read john414's post, I felt no distrust at all. Maybe because I have bought from Ron's Rocks and he's a great eBay seller. The "Hi boys and girls" wasn't a bit demeaning to me - maybe because I always say "Hi, boys and girls" to groups of people, whether I really know them or not.
My impression of this post was that the poster was happy and excited and wanted to share his experience with a great ebay seller on the forum.
Quite frankly, everybody has their panties in a wad over the guest that downed Banjo and has made other annoying remarks, yet only myself and Earthdog has said a word about the rudeness of nepherite in referring to a guest poster, or maybe he was referring to Ron's Rocks, as a sleazebag. Seems rather hypocritical to me. Way out of line and uncalled for and we wonder why some folks don't want to register?
What's wrong with this picture?

Can't say I blame john414Guest for not wanting to post here after the reception he got on this thread. Hell, I'm not sure I want to post here anymore if this is how we are going to treat guests.

llana , Get a life ..... You are the only one making a big issue out of this. I, like most of the good people on this message board took the time to register. I have the right to express my opinion any time i want, as do you . When i read that " hi boys & girls " post i thought it was demeaning and sounded like a cheap car salesmans ad. This is just my opinoin, sorry if i offended anyone. After reading "the guest " last post i rest my case. Not only was it ignorant but he also offended the mentally handicapped, what a loser. Tony

I think that was uncalled for. Llana is expressing her opinion - I also agree with the points she is making. I think due to the "guest" that started all this, many are now distrusting ANY person that chooses to post with the guest feature. This is going to do nothing except drive people away and put them of registering IMO.

People people people *rings little bell to call class to attention* We must all try to get along! Llana and Tony will now go sit in the corner! Please let us not bash each other over some comment made by some guests- They read it and get their jollies- We are all allowed to express our opions and feelings but please remeber that some may not "get" what you are saying! Now if we have any more bickering I'm gonna half to crack some skulls! (or better yet crack some rocks)
