 Even has the correct matrix for Amethyst Sage. Any chance this got mixed up with native stones? Have you ever purchased amethyst sage? Amazing Scott, no chance it was mixed up. The only rocks/stones/slabs I've ever bought was at our gem&mineral show. It was picked up in my normal hunting ground here. It's a tributary of the Mississippi River. I've found many things that people say I shouldn't. |

The slabs are great, the damage to your truck sucks. Be careful out there.

I could walk that stream for hours. Looks way different than the desert. Lynn It's rained a lot lately so the water is up. Under that water is all rocks!!!! I've spent hours on hours in that stream An have only picked through 2 miles. Every time I go I find so much I run out of time before I can search further. I'm going again tomorrow I'll take more pictures. |

What do you carry? Have you had training? I don't carry. My sons been trying to get me to take a conceal carry class that would certify me for the last year or so. That said, my minor league experience indicates you should both "pack" and take suitable training. More training is always indicated. Even expert safety and security experts train continuously. If you decide to go that route, a carry class isn't enough IMHO. But, that's a whole 'nother topic altogether.  ETA: Scott already interjected. But, this is one area that I a have experience in. Wow nice spot, would bring a weapon of some sort. One of the little snake charmers that take a 410 shell. I have a special walking stick with a sharp metal tip an I always carry a knife. I'm starting to see the logic in carrying a small concealed pistol though. |
