How wide of a vice opening does that indexing head need?

If you have a vise that opens horizontally, you need at least 7" to hold on to the jig. I have a 10" LS-10 Lortone with a vise that clamps vertically. It just doesn't have enough travel on the vise to move the jig and cube far enough from the blade.
