Here is meviva Andrea's first silver wrap. Very nice- even looks great in a close up. Her work is second to none y'all. Oh WOW!! I think I might need to save your comment for my "customer review" page if I ever get one. Andrea

OK, the wrap is ready and the box is ready. Just waiting to hear from Tammy TByrd about whether she cabs or not. She already sent me her address.

More pictures.... Here is meviva Andrea's first silver wrap. Very nice- even looks great in a close up. Her work is second to none y'all. Here are the cabochons that I will choose between to wrap. rhodonite, I think.... more raspberry in person A really cool fortified agate- reminds me of teepee canyon a bit ...and some MT agates Here are the slabs I chose.... y'all knew I would pick these- (yes) rhodonite, oj, lapis This is what I am replacing them with stromatolite, seraphinite, rosalinda, angelite, a Texas agate I forgot the name of but it is written on the back, Morgan Hill poppy, flowering tube onyx and a really bad a** agate of some kind. These are all slabbettes, good for at least on big cab or 2 smalls. I'm waiting to hear from Tammy about whether she cabs or not. I'm setting up a pay it forward for her, too. If she does not cab, I'll send the slabs anyway, so she can pass them on to the next person. melhill1659 who is after Tammy? You? Beautiful slabs too!!! meviva your pendant is awesome!!! The next person after Tammy is cccbock - Chris, then me!

I pretty much knew what I wanted to do. The wrap itself gave me all kinds of flippin' trouble and it was a simple wrap. Just wasn't my day.

Wow, I got the box, no thanks to the mailman, nothing like walking out your front door and tripping over a box that was put right in front if the door, but he couldn't reach 2 extra inches to knock on the door, lol. I was so excited to post and the stupid internet has been down all day and now it won't let me upload photos. I will keep trying. Just wanted to say thank you to Tela for a great box! Took me forever to go through, lol.

Ok. Trying to post photos from the really great box. Here is the wrap, I love it. The cabs, which one to choose, which one to choose? The extras, pay it forward. Slabs And then these lovely cabs to me from Tela Here they are all laid out. Beautiful cabs. Thank you Tela. What a joy it was to open such an awesome box. Now to see if I can do justice to the cab I'm going to wrap and pass on. Tammy

I'm glad you like the pendant and cabs. Can't wait to see what you do. Love the pendant Tela an all of the goodies that followed. This round has been fun. The cab you wrapped was actually from one of my very first slabs. It was in a box that was thrown in when I bought my very first antique Highland Park Combo cabbing unit. I spent hours teaching myself how to rebuild/update that unit. That was 2.5/3 yrs ago. I never would have imagined then that this hobby would turn into a long term passion! Since then I've rockhounded amazing places, have new unbelievably talented friends here and my local Gem&Mineral club, taken invaluable classes in a part of the U.S. that I probably never would have seen if it weren't for the search for knowledge and growth. And Oh My Heavens... all the knew learning curves (Geological studies, topographical maps, hand held gps units, slabbing, cabbing, Mechanics, wrapping, metal smithing, etc etc etc

TByrd, I meant to add a note about that bowlerite. I guess you figured it was from a bowling ball. It scratches real easy, but can be polished very easily with just about anything - like the car polish you use for headlights.

I have always wanted a piece and was so surprised by how light weight it was. It is just beautiful in person.
