I did my first bolo! I used copper, of course. I used 16g and tumbled it all night. It is very strong and secure. I added some rubber cord just so you could see it. I had to order some braided cord. This went off fairly easily. Getting the cord holders right was a little difficult. The pictures may disappear- I'll put them back if they do. Having some image posting issues. So, what do you think?? The stone is actually much, much nicer in person. When I get the proper cord, I'll reshoot and you'll see the stone better. amyk , I posted the back just for you.

Beautiful piece of workmanship! What type of stone is that? It's very interesting and has a 3D effect that is mesmerizing. Your wire wrap is nicely done (one of your hallmarks) - I was interested to see the details of how the Bolo string is captured and held by the friction of the bends - nice. Thank you.

I posted a picture of the back. Did you see it before it disappeared? I'll try to get it back- my picture hosting has been glitchy today. edit- just fixed the pictures

I caught the picture of the back-side in your first post. My attention was immediately drawn to the beauty of the stone, but my love of intricacy and design was captivated by the clasp part in back (My Father wanted me to become a Mechanical Engineer like him... which did not happen... but I greatly enjoyed his lectures concerning design and detail).

They compliment each other so well. Can see why you chose the stone for a bolo.

Interesting design on the bolo tie. I've seen some other designs, but wasn't sure how well it would grip the cords. Look forward to seeing it on braided cord, which will help with the gripping part. Beautiful stone.

Jaw-Dropping!!! An it possibly looks like it could be a slide pendant as well. Husband can wear it one night, wife the next ⚡️⚡️

Beautiful stone. It's gripping the rubber cord extremely well. I am getting the same diameter leather, so I don't see any problems.
