Wow. A man who can make a giant tumbler out of a beer keg...my kind of guy! ![:-*](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/kiss.png) I like the grain of sand to mountain idea, but I'm not really keen on aspiring to be a diamond. I don't like diamonds, never have. Who (besides Brittney Spears) would want to become a see-through, sparkly thing with no real color - and waaaay overpriced? Okay, the pink and yellow ones are pretty, I admit, but still... We are all rockaholics and maybe the ten-step program would work for us. First we join the board and announce ourselves "Hello, my name is..."; then graduate to sponsor; then group leader; then speaker. Not that I have any personal experience in this - I have friends... ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) Of course, the problem with that is that no one here really wants to QUIT their addiction ;D Taryl

Hi All, Ten levels sound good, Trout (or should I say Mr. Honorary Grand Master Vice King of All Stone Related Affairs)! ;D Those fine folks who have already attained the 'g' status currently have no other levels to aspire to, do they? ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) BE

Master of the Universe? No, I guess God pretty much covers that.

i like grain of sand, (maybe grit baby?) and pebble and.....up to mountain, (tectonic plate?). we can make Andy the Planet, Master of All and Mainly In Charge.
i truly like the title of Honorary Grand Master Vice King of all Stone Related Affairs. ;D
but the truly good purpose is to share these ideas and wisdoms, and the photos, those are SO inspiring!
Stones have always been a favorite of ancient people and we all have an innate appreciation and love of rock, some of us more than others....hehehe.
so you can call me whatever you want to in here, just keep on posting!

lol - Tarylina - I've never actually tried to make a giant tumbler out of a beer keg, but I'm pretty sure I could. At any rate, I know how to empty the keg first! I don't know what to tell you about diamonds. Other than getting my wife to agree to marry me (in a moment of weakness which, I am sure, she regrets to this day) they have never done me any favors. I don't think there is any other stone with a hardness of 10, so I'm not sure what to do about that.
Cookie - I thought He-Man was the Master of the Universe
KD - I agree. This is fun, but the real meat of the site is its collective wisdom. That said, how about we call you the First Principal Bagwan Guru of Spiritual Rockiness?

Hey I thought of this idea too! But props to Trouthunter because Bagwah Guru has got to be the best title ever (apart from Mama- but that might just be me being a big ole sap). Maybe we could all start out as "grasshopper" - you know..."when you can snatch the pebble from my hand...". Okay that's obscure. I apologize.

Trouthunter - well, if you figure out how to do it please send me the instructions. Great excuse to have a keg party! ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) When my husband and I started seriously talking marriage, I told him no diamond engagement ring for me, please. All I wanted was matching gold wedding bands, and that's what we got. It took FOREVER to find them, because most wedding sets include a diamond engagement band, but we got what we wanted at half the cost. I'm so cheap...but not easy ;D I totally agree with KD on the title thing - "I don't care what you call me, as long as you call me..." (a line from a movie and I can't remember which one!)

"...for dinner." "He-Man" ? What was I thinking? How politcaly incorrect is that ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) I like diamonds. Shiney things can keep me occupied for hours at a time...... What were we talking about? I was gazing at my ring. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) cookie

LOL Cookie - "He-Man" - yeah...and I will be "Sheena, Queen of the Jungle" - yes, I used to watch that in the morning with my kids. I know, I'm the only woman in the world who doesn't like diamonds. I hate to shop, too. HATE to shop. Look Pick Grab Go Is my motto! Does this mean I am some freak of nature? ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) Taryl

AMEN to that, Cookie! I thank the Lord every day that I work at a company where I can wear jeans and a t-shirt every day - and during the summer most of us go barefoot. Boy, you should hear us all bitch when we have to dress up for ONE DAY because potential clients are visiting. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)

BTW, my mugs up on "visators and members" if you want to know what this crazy, opinionated women looks like. Keep in mind it was very humid that day and I had a bad case of "That Girl" hair, it's not usually that 80's big ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) cookie

No cookie she isn't in pain, she IS a pain. Ever been around a pregnant dog or one in heat? They have a real attitude. She's been consistently getting in the trash lately. I've had to set the cans up to keep her out of them. I keep telling her that she needs to be going to her TEA meetings (Trash Eaters Anonymous), but she won't listen!! I think it's the whole "Hello, I'm a Chesepeake Bay Retriever and I'm a trash eater" thing that's putting her off! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Otter
