Wow, 4K resolution. Never thought about a digital projector, probably been around for years duh. 4K is fast processing. Maybe a projector is faster than sending to LCD, or at least allows higher resolution. Talk of 8K and possibly 16K is on the table. |

Yes, jamesp, digital projection, like Scott said. Hook to computer, video device, that little GoPro knockoff, wireless to handheld device, Roku, firestick, camera, etc. My son has already hooked the Xbox up to it, of course. The one I got was a fraction of the one Scott listed, but has all the capabilities I need. Add popcorn, chocolate chip cookies and it's family movie night. |

A must for the family. I went to a party at Isaac Hayes house in my 20's. My date worked for a good friend of his, so my invite. They had projectors mounted in the center of about every wall of the house. Made some crazy effects. Located in rich section, Buckhead, downtown Atlanta. Handed our invitation to the hired Atlanta Policeman doorman as the heavy pot smoke rolled out the front door. Large population of younger girls, men were all older, do the math. A rare exposure to the rich and famous, what a trip. NOT a family affair. Cool device. Bet it has a serious light source, perhaps generating some heat. Fan cooled. |
