posting photos through Google drive, tried Flickr no luck, tried getting RTH photo hosting no luck, so I'm doing links from Google drive,only thing I could do working with what I got. Any ways here is a link to some Colorado jasper. I think it's jasper. My son found it just the other day, photo's are poor, got a nice cut,colors are pink,white,browns and grey, nice tones. This material looks pretty solid has a high hardness will not scratch with blade.

Based on hackly break patterns on the outside of the stone I'm saying not jasper.
Cool as shit inside though. And I may be wrong!

Jasper is just my guess this stuff came out of the creek I hound, sure is hard the breaking and chips on the out side come from being tumbled in the raging waters when the creek goes from stream to raging river, has to be hard as heck to not fracture all the way through. Will not scratch with steel blade, will see about cabbability, Soon my son asked if I can cabb a piece of the slab I cut off it , |
