AT this moment captbob is getting the wind. Poor dear little wife. Good thing Bob has lots of liquor. Going to be a sleepless night. Then tomorrow getting rid of a lot of tree debris. Then we'll be thinking about you Jim. Hunkered down in front of the liquor cabinet. hehehehe Wish we had hurricanes and a reason to hunker down and look rough in the morning.. Maybe a Cat 5 would make me pull a bottle out. Now wife is a different matter ha. Looks like a couple of hours of 45 MPH wind about dinner time, no problem here. Should blow down all the widow makers. Nothing a bush hog won't grind up. 5 inches rain over 20 hours. We can use it. IF it does not stall like Opal did and laid down 18 inches of rain. Washed my stuff out. Have had 6 inches in 1.5 hours, that's a problem. Get our share of local downburst storms and small tornadoes. Those thick heavy bowls are sold as pick-up-at-farm items. To heavy to mess with taking to the freight company. I get special order requests for 6 and 8 foot bowls, but they don't like the price and back out. Suits me, I don't want to fool with them. This is my website www.firepitsatlanta.comAnti-rust people ? Not my concern. If they want a stainless I'll build it. I've built all kinds of crazy requests. Like the custom jobs. Great looking units Jim, Liking the low profile one. If I ever get settled down again I have to have one. Great pricing. Your old scale object was better than a bowling ball. Never see a bowling ball around a firepit but a Corona seems natural. Hope your day goes well. Cliff

Thanks coloradocliff. Big problems with people judging scale. Because I build them in a certain proportion. Increasing base diameter with bowl diameter for instance. A 30 looks like a 48 in photo. Medium depth model comes in 24-30-36-42-48. Can't tell photos apart, so collecting different color bowling balls. Given color ball for each size. The beer does get a bit small for comparison on bigger units. So the bowling ball. Clients must have big enough 'gauge' since they are buying off of cell phone and notebook in many cases. In past 4 months it looks like Mac Safari and iPhone are choice of clients. Phones and desk tops about equal purchasing devices. Got to be phone friendly. Apple people, because my client base averages 35 to 45 years old. About 50% purchased off of a small phone, about 50% purchased off of desk top/notebook. Lots of iPhone and Safari:

If you search on the computer you are vulnerable to your devices and services and IP address being known. Kinda scary.

Yep everything is scary and the people who damage and use the rest of us aren't prosecuted and punished or they would stop the antisocial behavior. Most is harmless and even helpful though. Like in your case here.

The information is benign in this case, helpful on how to and where to target advertising. Like seeing a bowling ball in the tiny smart phone screen. Sounds crazy but they are buying on their phone and need to see a big enough comparator. If I have a chair sitting 2 feet behind the pit the client may claim deception because the distant chair makes the pit look 5 feet across instead of 4 feet. I hate hearing complaints. i.e., my plant died, I want my money back. Plant obviously dried out, where's my noose.

Less sales but bigger sales is making me a happy camper. Less numbers. Inanimate widgets and require no maintenance. I am now 5 months without nursing plants. Still miss them, but not the upkeep. Many sales are online with no personal interaction, nice break too. Miss the green people terribly. Them folks unbeatable, fun group.
