Hello goodday, i was a lurker for awhile, u til I jumped in, and now my rock world was totally transformed in a wonderful way by being part of the RTH. In a good way lots to learn here, hope to see your rocks, and Welcome from COLORADO,

Another Colorado Howdy and welcome to the forum. No problem lurking. Many members lurk and also non members. Hope to see pictures and maybe some folks on here can give to some pointers and maybe you can give us some. accidentalrockhound New York has concretions, and conglomerate concrete. She started just in time to be eligible for fossilmans give away contest that is upcoming.

Accidentalrockhound! Surely you jest! Vast, vast areas of New York state have no resemblance whatsoever to NYC. Not the easiest rock hunting for tumbling material, however. I am on the Vermont side of Lake Champlain and tumbled some local rocks(fillers with my WWT contest rocks)with varying degrees of success. I did have a few orange and orange/white ones that took a wonderful liquid shine, so there are some goodies out there.

If I could figure out how to put up pictures, I would... I don't have a lot of fancy gadgets and I don't even understand much of the dialog relating to posting pictures. Just a rockhead I guess.

Go to a photo hosting site and join up......Like flickr,its easy and its easy to post on this site too....... Everyone wants to see the tumbling material I am sending you.............Thumbs up Plus the material you collect in your area..............
