The snap rings do sound like an easy way to take care of that problem! Thanks! The main thing that's slowing me down right now is the weather! I'm wishing that spring would get here sooner rather than later! Heck, I'd settle for 45°! Then I'd be able to start drilling and cutting! Nothing more fun than standing at the Workforce saw getting rained on while cutting several rocks down to size!

Lori, my wife and I checked out AC's and found a few things such as jump rings and snap rings etc but not a great assortment for findings used for tumbling. But, since my wife is a beader (no, not like the son of Nickolaus and Alexandria!) so she ended up buying a few hasps and things for her beads. The last time we went inside they really didn't have a great number of items for tumblers, but up 127N at the Hobby Lobby, they are slowly but surely getting more and more items for us. And if we just keep asking for more findings and different tools and things they will go ahead and order them for us. Plus they do have a nice little tumbler that so far has shown great things for the first and second stages. I'll post again when I get these stones up to the final polish.
