Looks sort of metallic, but has crystals. The copper that was mined near where I grew up was loaded with crystals and malachite. Try a simple copper test somewhere on it. Was this in one of your pails?

native copper is usually green with verdigris, and the crystal structure is wrong for copper.

Chalcopyrite and pyrite both come in ball formations. Both only become magnetic after heating. Looks more like chalcopyrite to me.

Nope, not copper. Could be a mix of chalcopyrite and other minerals.

Diagnostics are quite useful. Even more so than Google.
Do a streak test on the underside of your toilet lid. Report color here.

That's probably not copper either! What page was that found on so we can parse this. Just cuz it's in the results doesn't make it correct
