Jeremy txrockhunter you nailed it with these photos. Great stuff. I know you complained about getting good photos before, but these are great. What did you do with this setup? I'm still searching for a good photo setup for shooting rocks. Congrats on your work.

Outstanding polish, outstanding material and outstanding photos, just wow.
That fractured petrified wood piece maybe could be a petrified tree fern, not sure if you have that where you are but in the Southern hemisphere we find it occasionally, when we do its a big deal, much boasting and bragging.

Awesome batch & photos Jeremy. The pics are so good you need to use a lint free cloth on the rocks. I have no such problem with my pics.....

You have some of the best self collected stuff around. Great rocks tumbled to perfection.

I mean, c'mon, it's not fair to have all that beautiful material from your back yard and then bring in the best from everywhere else, too. Jeez, I'll give this a try...always love the petrified palms, so #1 is a great example of that. Ones like #7 blow my mind, but I think #16 is a cool little piece too. Super duper batch all around, always love the variety you show off and the photos are spot on.
I'll have to show my boys the BB-8 rock
They'll get a kick out of that. I won't tell them where you got it or I'll be tasked with finding another one.
Now get back to work so we don't have to wait so long for the next show!

6, 7, 11, 16 are my favorites. Thanks for posting pictures again. Seems like you have the whole process down now.

Dave Thanks, Dave! Still not happy with the photos, but got tired of playing around with them and posted what I had. I got frustrated with my handmade light box, so I took these pictures out in the sun. I'll be working on a different setup that's a lot more consistent. Let me know what you end up doing!

River really high and bring down more goodies for you Jeremy ? Thanks, coloradocliff! The local pet wood and palm polish really well. Fun being able to collect locally! Love the new camera, just need to find an easier and more consistent way, to photograph tumbled rocks. They are forecasting 10-15 inches of rain from Harvey. That will end up moving a lot of gravel in the San Jacinto!

Thanks, pauls! I'll have to do some investigating on the fern. Might be someone way smarter than me that can chime in on the subject. It would definitely be worth bragging about!
