Might try a dental water pic, also I have had some luck with muriatic acid. take your time let it work. Polish? I would be happy with what it is, you may ruin it trying to polish it. Have start the process but it's slow ... when its finish will post some photos... now cleanning ... Fv Good Luck ! Cant wait to see how it looks. I have found that its easy to go too far with the cleaning and have made good specimen less by trying for perfection. Go for nice and be happy for a while until you get another idea.

Have a boat load of really nice corals there Jim. Like the grape looking stuff but the more flattened ones are double cool. Is the river down enough for you to collect yet or are you going to need to build a submarine?

To remove iron, I use Iron-Out. This is available in some grocery stores, and in hardware stores. That is a nice piece!
