P.S. All those cabochons are going on my web site this morning. It's been so long since I've put anything new out there, most folks think I'm retired or dead!

I wrote an article about the "quad cabs" and sent it and a photo to Rock and Gem as an entry into the Lapidary of the Month contest. ? Great concept on the quad and excellent delivery as usual! My mind is already moving in a few directions like: getting 2 slabs of similar colors or patterns, glue, preform into a square, then set 4 (2 of each) into a flowing pattern. Possibly TL&BR in Plume Agate the opposite a solid color or something like Opal and rainbow Obsidian! Good Luck on your article!!!! Would be amazing to read and frame an article by You in my favorite magazine!!!!!

vegasjames, I’m still here. My awesome Utah trip has come and gone. Still trying to get my ducks in a row and post a thread!

Here's the latest iteration of this experiment. Ocean Jasper cabochon quartet. No two cabs have the same shape: one has two concave curves, one has two convex curves (not counting the "outside" of the quartet), and two have one of each, but on different sides. Maybe myDW will wrap all four and keep the orientation the same as you see below.
