Pretty soon, I won't be able to cab. Soooooo.... I'm cabbing every chance I get. Had to finish breaking in that new 80 grit today. Started early and got 13 done today. One, I already gave away (a big ole blue tiger eye my granddaughter loved) and one had to get some glue. I messed up the settings on my nikon and can't remember what they were, so a few of these look a little off. . I REALLY like this. I call it Black Sun Rising. This crazy lace has a black pyrite sun the fashes as it moves. Sadly, it undercut a bit on the 50k.Another crazy ylace. This is real long and started out totally different. The pattern got lost in the grind. A really sweet Lindamarie. I forgot I had this! Drummond Island Rocks Chuck sent me this a long time ago and I just now got to cutting it. Neither he now I know what it is, but I really like it. Kinda looks like shrinkwood, don't it? These are all stellar. You have mad skills! These two are my faves. Vic

rockjunquie is the cabbing coming to a stop have to do because you do it outside in the cold and have to deal with water for flushing the cabber and so On? I just ordered an 8" Cabber today and I am thinking how I am going to handle my water waste and water supply for that matter. Anyway those are beautiful you do great work! ~Duke

I just use the trays. I don't have a plumbed line. I dump the trays down the sink and have never had a problem with it. Not much trouble in the way of sludge with cabbing.

The colder water used to lubricate the wheels? Bummer I wonder if adding Lac to the wax would make it stickier and therefore more cold water tolerant?

Probably. I never saw it in writing.

I've got no comment on it since I don't cab, but I just ran across the thread after reading your reply. Dave

Have you tried super glue and nails? Works pretty well for me.
Peace, Rich

I have been doping with super glue on nails for a few years, no issues....removal via heat, freezer or acetone. Cheers

What size Nails do you use, my guess would be 20 penny or larger. Thanks

Dammmmnnnn Tela... you are on fire!! Post after post of the SWEEEETEST cabs!! Seems I just need to go Rockhounding and send you slabs! I wish I could cab every day. I get into the zone. It's been great with the kids back to school. Tomorrow I'll be cabbing all day, too. Of course, if I could hound anything around here, I'd be torn.
