Have made a trip to these two countries they have a lot to give in terms of rock minerals, colombia have great quartz specimens and ecuador nice mix specimens with more than 4 minerals on it ... the most dificult to me in the trip was to chose from a large show room the specimens... obviusly want to bring all of them but weight was a issue !
Here are some of the specimens have come to my collection from these amaizing countries that not have give only good specimens also have nice scenery and good food ! Here are some of the pics .. first 5 soecimens from ecuador ... from otavalo market only opens on sunday ... check the rock formations on the upper part of the photo ! Just beatiful ... these is near baños town near tunguragua active volcano ... will be adding more pics ...

That meal looks awesome, as does the waterfall. My favorite is the first mineral. What is it? Almost looks like selenite with blue plumes. Never seen anything like that.
