This is some really really nice material that accidentalrockhound came across. It's pretty old school and rare. This quick picture does it not justice. I'll update with a better one later. The bead is a faceted carnelian. better pics with patina and here is a close up of the rosebuds- there's some agate in there, too.

Due to the traveling rock box thread from the last round being resurrected, I went through the thread, and checked out photos of what was put in and what was taken out. Imagine my surprise when I saw this pic - Check the top right corner! Rosebud!
This pic was sent in by Jeremy txrockhunter of the stuff he took out of the traveling rock box in April. Frank accidentalrockhound , did that come from you, out of the old school stuff you got? Good seeing more of it making the rounds. I can tell Tela rockjunquie is in love with it. Some pretty stuff, and Tela works wonders with it! Jean

Ha ha, that's what everybody keeps telling me! It was fun going through the old thread. Unfortunately, many of the posted photos have been eaten by the greedy bastids at PB. Boo, you guys suck! I can't believe they STILL keep sending me emails about updating and things they sell. Unless I delete my account (don't worry, Tommy, not gonna do it!), they'll probably keep sending them forever.
Maybe Tommy can fix the links? Pretty please? Jean

I think I might have gotten a piece of the rosebud also from the traveling rock box. Is that rosebud at the bottom of the pic? Andrea

Indeed it is, Andrea! And maybe the one at 2 o'clock as well. Or, maybe not. The greenish one, just above at to the right of the rosebud on the bottom looks like the Turkish rainforest jasper I got from @shotgunner. Or maybe it is plasma agate...
Hey, now that I think about it, I may have sent a few slabs to be added to the box before it started it's rounds. I didn't participate in the event, because I don't need any more rocks. (yeah, right.)

Yeah that green one with orange lightning bolts is Turkish material.

Shhhhh, don't tell everybody, lol. I guess I'm gonna have to quit playing the mileage guessing games... You are forgiven, Frank. I was pretty certain it came from you, just wasn't sure when you picked up the load of rocks that included the rosebud, if it was before the last rock box or not. It's okay to be a witch close to Halloween, right?

Depends which day it is, lol.
