Thanks Gentlemen, Had great time down in the dessert, No Cady mt.,but i did go to the Diamond Pacific factory  . Some of the bigger pieces i will be slabbing,but most will go to my Tumbling friends. will keep you posted with photos,and HAPPY HOLIDAYS! PAUL |

About 80 something at Lavic, Only had a couple hours there, and that place is vast Plus, my father in-law was driving, He's a tough ol' bird but no spring chicken, Couldn't bting myself to push him further into the Crater filled landscape I am going back, uou can count on that! |

@hookedonrocks, That Lavic jasper is wonderful. I've spent a couple of hours there but found nothing that beautiful.

Go past the lava crater (it will be on your right<as well as all the picked over float spots)
drive toward the dry lake bed,you will see 2 posts,hang a right till you see the no trespassing sign,park.
