Niiiiice! Great weather to be building.
But why post in the sphere section? Building a 6 foot sphere maker in there? 😄

Nate NDK, I think he did that just to throw us all off! It's gonna be awesome! But are you sure 24 X 36 is BIG enough? Keep on posting, we love seeing the progress. Hope the weather holds for you. Jean

I primarily make spheres. This will be a dual purpose shop. Woodworking and Lapidary.

::speechless::
ETA
Someone needs to check square on that form. Looks to me like the slab will be off by a bit and the metal building won't fit properly. Fix it now!
(Kidding!)

Those walls aren't strong enough to hold more than two stories.

Those walls aren't strong enough to hold more than two stories. Land is expensive, air is cheap. Go straight up!

To be fair, this project started a few weeks before the original post. The timeline is off but this is where I am at today. Electric early next week followed by interior finish, overheads and siding.

Okay, we'll forgive you for misleading us about the timeline. The builders are making fast progress on it, YAY! Glad that you have gotten it this far before the Wisconsin winter sets in. You will have heaters in it for winter use, right? Jean

I do NOT know what I would do if I had that much space! I'm so used to my kitchen table. LOL!
Looks awesome!

Turn on some music and start "rocking" out? Ha ha.
I don't want/need anymore space, as it would just get filled up with stuff. Most - but not all of it - mine.
Any horizontal surface is fair game, ye indeedy!

I am confused. If you are going to put cars in there you loose all the great space for rocks and the garage doors do not look like they are high enough to put in a dump truck full of rocks. Where are you going to put a 36" diamond slab saw if you put cars in there? Nice shop building though.

Great looking shop!

We haven't had an update (rock junky fix) in a whole week! Is the building complete? Are you going to be moved in and making rock dust by Christmas? What a lucky guy!
