Sorry if I posted one or two of these already. Thulite Rosalinda- you can't tell in the picture, but I used a strip of sterling on the side. I like the look. I probably should get another picture. translucent rhodochrosite red gem bone with heavy silver strip oj really beautiful ultra rare angel skin busamite. I need to get better pictures of this, too. super cool sagenite a indian paint stone that I may take apart. Didn't quite come out the way I envisioned it. Thanks for looking- if this cold weather keeps up, I'll be posting more soon. LOL!

Super wraps, as usual. The Sagenite and OJ are my two picks.

Great job on the wraps and fantastic photography. I keep trying to figure out if the sterling silver is getting washed out with the stark white background though?

Great job on the wraps and fantastic photography. I keep trying to figure out if the sterling silver is getting washed out with the stark white background though? Chuck Yeah, I wonder that, too. Plus, no matter what I do- the silver always has some kind of color cast. IMO, silver is hard to photograph. Copper and gold are so photogenic. I'm not gonna quit the white background and rephotograph everything I have, though. I always liked a gray background but then the colors came out too saturated. With the white background the colors seem to come out more true.

I am not one to criticize on photos. Yours are always great. Chuck

Awesome. Yes, the photos are a little washed out for me, as well.
Also, if you could point me towards anything to ID sagenite I would appreciate it. Thinking I have found some here, based on outer appearance of 4-5" rocks, but am unsure. Thank you.
Your wraps are always top notch, even the ones you d not like.

You really nailed it with those wire strips. Did you use a bezel strip to do that? It looks really awesome.
I actually think the Indian Paint Stone would benefit from that treatment. It would really show off the beautiful pattern in the stone.

It would really show off the beautiful pattern in the stone. No, it wasn't bezel strip, which is too thin. I ordered it for other projects I haven't gotten to and decided to try it on these thick stones. The Indian Paint is super thin, so I couldn't use it. The strip I used is fairly wide and thick.

Fantastic set, the ones with the wire strip on the sides are very innovative.

Hey Tela, These are all beautiful, of course How do you price your ultra rare stones? Just wondered.. especially when it's a pair of earrings and you have more time in them... Thanks and great work... Deb

Too bad it's so thin. You could back it to make it thicker. That wire strip technique is just so clean, it would set the killer pattern in that stone off to perfection.

Thanks and great work... Deb I kinda guess at it. I always try to get good bargains- like the bustamite and then I try to pass the savings on while still making money. Earrings, in particular, are hard to price because they are really 2 wraps. I can't really charge for 2 wraps. No one would buy them. So, I shoot for one and half wraps.
