These pictures were taken outside on a sunny day in the shade. First time in months that the weather has been good enough to do that here in Michigan. Chuck

Beautiful batch and great pictures!! Thanks. Macro shots are not very forgiving. In general I think all of my tumbles look much better to the naked eye then they do in magnified pictures with enhanced lighting. Chuck

Very nice mixed batch, Chuck. Glad to see a batch of rocks posted on here. I always love bots and Brazilian agate, but I'm liking the rose and rutilated quartz, too. You always have nice tiger eye, also. Thanks for sharing and glad you had good enough weather to get out and do pics!

The rose quartz and rutilated were from some rough my older son (18) got me for Christmas. He gave me some bahia agates and blue lace agates too. The plan is to tumble it all and give him them back to him. Chuck

So he buys you rocks for Christmas and you are supposed to work on them for months then give them back to him. That's a pretty smart kid to have figured out how to make that work! Nice seeing your Turritella as I plan to run some. Now I know it's doable.

He is not into working on rocks anymore but at least he still enjoys seeing the stuff I get finished. Take what you can get right. Turritella is really hit or miss. Just like cabbing stay away from the brown(ish) parts and only work on the dark black areas. Chuck

Great batch, Chuck. The rutilated quartz and the oolite are my favorites just because they’re a little less common than the others. It looks like the oolite has little hollow pockets in it, is that right?
It’s so warm here today that I’ve got a rock cutting in the saw in the garage right now.

I sold my snowmobiles a few years ago so I have no use for winter anymore. I am ready for spring already. My kid got that rutilated rough from the rock shed and it was a really quick tumble. The oolite is from one of ChicagoDave's mixed rock boxes. Chuck

Did you use a iPhone or iPad Chuck ? Sure do like the quality and simplicity of these devices with their ability to crop and share to PC so quickly. Looks like DSLR photos. The oolite and tarantula spider rock

The oolite and tarantula spider rock Thanks James. It is hard to beat the convenience of using the phone for pictures since it is always right there handy. These pictures were taken with my Nikon P900 just because I had some extra time. Chuck

I'm not sure about the oolite. I think that was from a purchase that was supposed to be snowflake obsidian. I think you can see some of it in my "for sale" picture. Either way, great batch!
