Those are some really nice rocks. Great shine and pictures too. What are the green ones in picture four? They look a lot like the green quartz you commented on in my recent cross pictures. My quartz doesn’t tumble nearly as well, but the color is similar.

Great selection and, of course, super shine, Chuck! You need to talk ChicagoDave into getting in and out of the tumble game a time or two more. He left you with some sweet material each time. ETA: that second to last pic is my favorite. It looks flawless!

Nice stuff Chuck. I see stuff like yours (and Randy's, and Rob's,) and I'm still left wondering why I don't go the vibe route for finishing. At the end of the day, I think it's laziness. Then again, I have to find time to fit rocks in with reloading. Maybe I'll graduate to your level in the future.

WOW!! I like them all!! That last one tho is crazy cool! What is #8?? Thanks. Number 8 is blue lace agate from Namibia Africa. The last one is Maury mountain moss agate and was pre grooved for wire wrapping before going in the tumbler. Chuck

ETA: that second to last pic is my favorite. It looks flawless! Thanks Randy. That one is a pretty small rock but has a whole lot of coolness to it. Hard for me to pick a favorite but that piece of blue lace is killer. The top is completely smooth as glass with a druzy layer just below the surface. Chuck

I like the blue lace also. I recently finished a bunch of that. Makes pretty tumbles.

I love the blue lace too! But the rios are fabulous! Thanks. I have a real love hate relationship with the rio agates. They require a lot of effort but sometimes they really pay off. They are good candidates for macro photos too. This is the same rock as above just closer. Chuck

I think my DH thinks I'm crazy, especially when I see something really neat and try to get him to look at it too. LOL - never the same. I grew up with a microscope in my hand and work in a hospital lab where they are just part of the daily life. I think that is partially why I love the little details so much.
