Lots of work invested in our cherished tumbles Yep. That may be an understatement. I think I have finished somewhere between 400 and 500 pounds of tumbles all in small 3 pound Loto batches. Chuck I'm not very good at math. Is that a lot of loads? WOW..................................MrP

I'm always impressed with what you're doing. Getting three pounds a week sounds easy but I'm trying and it's not! I'm using your basic formula with an adjustment here and there, working out pretty good, thanks!

Thanks - Even with 24-36 pounds of rocks in stage one at all times I need to grind the flaws out of about 1 pound each week to keep things on pace. With no grinding I average between 1 and 2 pounds ready each week for stage two. By grinding a pound and tossing those back in stage one each week it ups my amount of rocks ready to between 2-3 pounds the next week. Chuck

I was pleased to see your Lake Huron common beach rocks photo as it's pretty much what I find around here and I'm gratified to see my results are similar to yours. It would have been easy to not include that photo among all the other "fancy" rock photos so thanks for including it... I'm more confident now I'm going in the right direction!

These all look amazing. Can I ask, do you feel like you make selections on what to tumble based on what sells best, or do you just sell what you like to tumble?

Selling never enters my mind as far as what I tumble. I tumble stuff I want to tumble then keep a select few and the rest go into storage bins for sale. Chuck
