Thanks Rob & vegasjames, when I carved my first mobius many years back I also had trouble getting my head around this, I mark out both sides before I start, a solid line on the carved in side and a dotted line to show its on the opposite side.

Thanks taylor, its a very small piece, can be very difficult when they are this size, its in the sanding process on 220 grit.

Thanks for the great comments, I consider this rhodonite to be the best that ever came from Australia, I have carved very dark red translucent to a pale ping from this deposit, its fine grain and polishes awesome, currently on 600 grit sanding.

Thanks for the great comments, just finished this little carving, its the hardest rhodonite I have carved, above 6.5 in mohs scale.

Thanks for the great support, I did have pictures of the reverse but removed them from my camera, very difficult to get a picture that done it justice, I sold this carving before it was finished.
