KD, I have filed my Raytech instructions away somewhere - probably never to be seen again! LOL! I may have misread the instructions and thought it said tablespoons rather than teaspoons, but I have been using tablespoons - 4 if rocks are dry and 2 if wet - and it's working for me, at least on the medium thru polish stages. It's been a while since I have done a coarse stage, so don't remember what I did then, but I'm almost sure I used tablespoons. I think when I have had problems with everything sticking to the bottom has been when I have not cleaned the bowl and rocks between recharging.
As soon as this batch I just polished is finished with the Cascade wash, I am going to start a coarse batch and I will keep track of exactly what I do and report the results.

Well, Llana, what can I say but that we must be channeling each other. I didn't misread the directions, I read them over and over again wondering if this was a typo or bad translation. Finally decided I'd follow the rule book, at least to start. Basically, it's right. I do up the water to some extent but nowhere near tripling it which is the tsp/tbsp ratio obviously. I have definitely noticed that using too much water reduces the grinding. Isn't it all interesting.

How much of the Cascade soap and water is used in the wash? And this is done after final polishing... right?
