Making great progress. Try adding a small aquarium bubbler in your solution for a different look entirely. I can't explain why, but it changed big time. Edited to add: Solution is cheap to make. 10-90 sulfuric acid to water solution, dissolve 35 grams copper sulfate per hundred grams water/acid solution. I bought the copper sulfate (root killer) and sulfuric acid (drain cleaner) at Lowe's and Home Depot. One was available at each. I forget which had which. $12 will make gallons of solution Maybe it keeps the copper from settling to the bottom and dirtying the tank? I'm gonna try it I'm curious to see what you've been making Haven't made nothing in a long time. All spare time going into clearing out the area for our workshop. Even jeannie is pitching in. I'll finish a sphere tonight at class for you. 😉

Serious progress Alison. So cool to see a skill evolve and improve. fine electroformed jewelry is stunning and you have arrived.
I just remembered where that turquoise colored glass came from. It was in that batch of bead glass you told me about a long while back in the beginning. I knew I had no turquoise colored vases. It is imported bead glass.
I was talking to a fellow about a fire pit last night in Minnesota. He had to pull his car under a shed to hear, the rain was so heavy. He was tripped out about the rain.

I was thinking it might be from that stuff. The round pieces like that work really great for rings. I still need to get my soldering iron and try something. Maybe this weekend. Southern part got ripped last night. Tornadoes, flooding, crazy huge hail. Fizzled out somewhat by the time it reached mid state and then picked up and hit the nort a bit. Snowed up in Canada and tonight they are suppose to be down to freezing. Strange weather for this time of year.
