Without devaluing your product, if I found that on my workbench, I'd scold the cat and bar if from the shop.

I see a lot of color. Brecciated means healed fractures and attractive cabs as long as it hold together.

Well, I think it will make fine cabs! Very unique and I love all the colors. I never would have thought magnesite.

Like I said earlier I'm getting this color/breccia from the crust layer - four cuts and it has played out and reached the bulk of the material which looks more like typical orange-ish/beige-ish magnesite. The entire rock is never going to look as good as Paul's @hookedonrocks gorgeous magnesite from this thread but with the greens if it can resemble some like in the picture I posted in Paul's thread I'll be a happy cutter.

Did you hound this? I believe Paul hounded his himself at Anderson Reservoir near Morgan Hill. I bought mine from a rock sale as Anderson material but I can't be absolutely certain it's from there. In the picture I posted in Paul's thread, the greens and pinks and reds materials came from Nevada and are apparently very rare. I had one large slab of each but it is mostly all gone now.

Paul gives you a run for the money! You two always find the good stuff.

The rest of the rock... no more green (sniff) Here are a couple of cabs I just finished from the Anderson material. I got this piece from a rock sale at Pat 's house. stoner threw it in my bucket and tested me to make sure I knew what it was

I like those two green cabs above. I like magnesite anyway.

I love it That is a whole world of color rockjunquie @ tommy Come on over, there is a whole cliff of that stuff we can "look" at Of course, we would just "look" at it... Hopefully none of it would take a liking to us and follow us home. It's not easy getting away here because we have to arrange a sitter for an elder in our care - but in a general sense what's the best day for you to get up to Anderson? Obviously mornings would be best with this heat but it does look like a cooling trend is coming. Is it still drained and are they letting folks in or do we have to go around the back? Edit: I'm seeing from the website that the lake is closed for boating but not drained like I had heard it was.

That is some very colorful Magnesite. Great discovery. On the cat end of things, my cats would never produce "leftovers" with those patterns and colors. Just saying, lol.
